YONRICO SCOTT BAND (Atlanta, Ga) (JamRock, Jazz & Funk) The last 16 years his main job has been drumming for the Derek Trucks Band, but Scott is also the band leader of his own, which released its debut CD, "Turning The Corner", on Landslide Records. The Yonrico Scott Band (YSB), also includes Kofi Burbridge (keys/flute) and Todd Smallie (bass). Throughout his musical career, Yonrico has recorded and/or performed with a Who’s Who list of well-known artists. Most recently, he has collaborated with The Ying Yang Twins and Outkast. Other notable artists include Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Freddie Hubbard, Sonny Stitt, George Benson, Tinsley Ellis, The Allman Brothers Band, Susan Tedeschi, Kansas, John Scofield, Col.Bruce Hampton, Gregg Allman,Widespread Panic, Phil Lesh, and The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, among others.
